Our facilities
in Garray (Soria, Spain), have welcomed the signing of this collaboration
agreement whereby Soria Natural becomes a sponsor of the volleyball team Rio
Duero Soria. José Antonio Esteba, CEO of Soria Natural, and Alfredo Cabrerizo,
President of Rio Duero Soria, have signed this agreement for a duration of two
seasons.
Cabrerizo has
declared that incorporating Soria Natural to the team’s sponsor list is an
honour and a privilege. He also expressed his most sincere thankfulness and
wishes that both institutions work together for a long time.
As for José
Antonio Esteban, he showed his satisfaction regarding this agreement. “Linking
our company to a sports club of this calibre, who has been in the elite of the
national volleyball scene for more than three decades, complies to one of our
most core values: supporting the world of sport and people’s health and
well-being”.
Since the
beginning, Soria Natural has always been linked to the world of sport. We have
sponsored many events, both professional and amateur, and have supported many
athletes and teams in many sports disciplines. “Having the chance of going hand
in hand with a local team that has achieved so many outstanding results, is
something that our brand celebrates. The participation of Rio Duero Soria in
international competitions also contributes to our projection out of Spain,”
said Esteban.
The signing was done at the same time as the presentation of the team’s new setter Jaime Arjones. This way, Arjones officially becomes part of Río Duero Soria volleyball team. The team has been in the highest division of Spanish volleyball for 37 seasons. It is the runner-up of Spain’s Men’s Volleyball Championship and the champion of His Majesty’s Volleyball Cup of 2023. This year, in addition to participating in the highest category of Spanish volleyball, Río Duero Soria is taking part in European championships like CEV Challenge Cup 2025 and the Iberian Cup
